Gastroenterology in Bavaria 2025 in Regensburg
From 16 to 17 May 2025, BioCer was represented as an exhibitor at the renowned training event ‘Gastroenterology in Bavaria’ at the Marinaforum Regensburg. Our team can look back on an all-round successful day with intensive discussions, professional dialogue and great interest in our surgical solutions.
Meeting point for gastroenterology and visceral surgery
The event is one of the most important regional meeting points for specialists in gastroenterology, visceral surgery and related disciplines. The wide-ranging lecture programme – with a focus on chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, endoscopic innovations and surgical interventions on the GI tract – attracted numerous visitors from all over Bavaria and beyond. BioCer took the opportunity to enter into dialogue with experts from clinics and practices.
Great interest in haemostyptic and adhesive solutions
Particular attention was paid to our product range for intraoperative haemostasis and tissue adhesion. Many discussions centred on the use of HaemoCer™ PLUS and QUIXX®, which have proven to be effective and well-tolerated options in gastrointestinal surgery. The areas of application in liver resections, bariatric surgery and anastomosis sealing also met with a great response.
The personal dialogue made it possible not only to communicate product benefits, but also to receive specific feedback from everyday clinical practice. This direct feedback is particularly valuable for us – because it helps us to tailor our solutions even more specifically to the needs of surgeons.
New contacts and closer partnerships
In addition to numerous new contacts, we were also able to strengthen existing relationships with clinics and specialised dealers in Regensburg. We were particularly pleased that some visitors reported positive experiences with our products and took the opportunity to enquire about further applications or training opportunities.
Training and clinical dialogue remain the focus
The lively response shows how important personal contact is at such events. For BioCer, participation in medical congresses therefore remains a central component of our communication strategy. At the same time, we take away many ideas for future training formats – including ideas for webinars or user meetings on specific indications in a gastroenterological context.
