With our first appearance at the Hospitalar trade fair in São Paulo, we established numerous valuable contacts and presented our product portfolio to an international audience of experts.

Professional exchange and new perspectives for the South American market

Our mesh implants for hernia surgery and our haemostatic products were particularly in focus. Discussions with experts from Brazil and other Latin American countries confirmed that our solutions are meeting with broad interest – both from a medical perspective and with regard to potential distribution partnerships.

BioCer is venturing into South America. From 20 to 23 May 2025, we will be exhibiting at Hospitalar in São Paulo, Brazil, for the first time. This trade fair is one of the largest medical technology trade fairs in the world. It offers a unique platform to present our innovative ‘Made in Germany’ products in South America.

Hospitalar has been held annually since 1993. It has established itself as a centre for innovation in the healthcare sector. Over 85,000 trade visitors from all over the world are expected to attend. In addition, more than 1,200 exhibitors will be presenting their products. For BioCer, this is an excellent opportunity to establish international contacts and expand our business.

Products, contacts and new markets

The São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre is state-of-the-art. It offers over 100,000 square metres of exhibition space. Here we will present our latest developments in the field of biomaterials. Visitors to our stand can learn about our innovative solutions. These include products for haemostasis, surgical meshes, soft tissue replacement and the functionalisation of medical surfaces.

Our experienced team will be on site. We will be presenting our products to trade visitors, potential partners and distributors. We will also be explaining their possible applications. This trade fair offers us the opportunity to expand our network in South America. It also gives us insights into the needs of the Latin American healthcare market.
