Milan is a city that knows how to put on a show – from La Scala to Fashion Week. So it was only fitting that the international endoscopy community gathered at the Allianz MiCo, one of Europe’s largest conference centres, from 16 to 18 April 2026. The ESGE Days 2026 – organised by the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy – brought together leading experts, clinical teams, researchers and manufacturers from across Europe. BioCer was there at Stand #2 and made the most of the three days.

Nurses Hotspot: When practice meets practice

The centrepiece of our exhibition stand was the Nurses Hotspot – and what made it special this year was not the product alone, but the person behind it: Susanne Raschke, Senior Specialist Nurse for Endoscopy at the KKiMK in Menden (Sauerland).

Susanne gave a live demonstration of how to use the HaemoCer Endoscopic Applicator, sharing her personal experiences from everyday clinical practice – unfiltered, practical and with the perspective of a specialist who deals with endoscopic procedures on a daily basis. Anyone familiar with product descriptions knows that nothing is more convincing than someone who truly knows a product and speaks from their own experience. The audience at the stand could sense that.

HaemoCer™ Endoscopic Applicator: Plant-based, absorbable, precise

The focus was on the HaemoCer Endoscopic Applicator – our medical device for endoscopic haemostasis in the gastrointestinal tract. Plant-based, fully absorbable and biocompatible, it enables atraumatic, precise application even in hard-to-reach areas of the GI tract – without any animal or human components. Approved in Europe and proven in clinical practice.

The intensive programme of the ESGE Days – featuring live endoscopies from leading European hospitals, hands-on workshops on haemostasis techniques and discussion sessions on new guidelines and AI in endoscopy – provided the ideal framework for this.
