ENT Congress 2026 Ulm
Ulm Minster – home to the world’s tallest church tower – has been demonstrating for centuries that it is perfectly fine to aim high. BioCer had a similar ambition when it made its debut at the 97th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (DGHNO-KHC): To break new ground, listen, learn – and return home with concrete insights.
A first in the ENT field
Until now, BioCer has primarily been at home in gastroenterology, visceral surgery and hernia surgery. The DGHNO-KHC Annual Meeting in Ulm marked our first step into a new specialist field – and what a step it was. At stand #104 in the industry exhibition at the Congress Centrum Ulm, BioCer engaged in direct dialogue with ENT surgeons, head and neck surgeons and colleagues from across the German-speaking ENT community.
The key takeaway: the feedback speaks for itself
Trade fairs are at their most valuable when you don’t just talk, but also listen. That is exactly what we did in Ulm – and the message was clear: there is a great need for suitable haemostatic agents in the ENT sector. Surgeons and specialists in head and neck surgery shared insights from their daily clinical practice and made it clear what requirements a haemostatic agent must meet in this specific field of application.
For BioCer, this is more than just an interesting indication – it is a clear mandate for development. We take the feedback from Ulm seriously and are working to develop suitable solutions for haemostasis in the ENT sector. A new chapter is beginning.
Ulm was well worth it
Our debut at the DGHNO-KHC has shown: venturing into new medical specialities is worthwhile. Not only because of the discussions at the stand, but also because of the ideas that BioCer is taking home – and from which, we hope, concrete solutions will emerge in the coming months.
We would like to thank all visitors who took the time to talk to us. Until next time – perhaps as early as the next DGHNO Annual Meeting.

ENT Industry Meeting in Ulm
The German Society for Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine, Head and Neck Surgery (DGHNO-KHC) will hold its 97th annual meeting in Ulm in mid-May 2026. The city on the Danube welcomes participants with a mixture of historic city centre, picturesque alleys and the famous Ulm Minster – providing a fitting setting for one of the most important events in the German-speaking ENT community.
What is the DGHNO-KHC?
The DGHNO-KHC is dedicated to promoting research, teaching and clinical care in all areas of ENT medicine. This includes scientific exchange formats, continuing education and cooperation between different medical disciplines. It provides continuing education and training, publishes scientific results and coordinates cooperation with related disciplines and international ENT societies.
What can participants expect?
From 13 to 16 May, participants can expect a wide-ranging programme: scientific lectures, practice-oriented courses, discussion panels and an industry exhibition that supports dialogue between medicine and technology.
The following are planned:
• High-calibre scientific lectures and interdisciplinary sessions
• Practice-oriented courses and training opportunities — especially within the framework of the German ENT Academy (Deutsche HNO-Akademie e. V.)
• Forums and discussion panels on topics such as outpatient care, quality assurance, the use of robotics and artificial intelligence in head and neck surgery
• Industry exhibition & exhibitor presence — with space for exchange between medical professionals and companies
• Accompanying programmes such as Nursing and Healthcare Professions Day, ‘Focus on Practice’, supporting programme and networking opportunities
Why is BioCer participating?
We are delighted to be part of this crucial industry gathering — with our own exhibition stand on site (Booth #104). For BioCer, the congress offers an excellent opportunity to present our products and solutions in the field of ENT and head and neck surgery to a broad specialist audience, to engage in direct dialogue with surgeons and distributors, and to gain valuable insights for further development and collaboration.
