European cardiac and thoracic surgery can look back on an impressive track record this year: the EACTS is celebrating its 40th anniversary. BioCer is delighted to be part of this special anniversary congress in Barcelona and to present innovative medical technology solutions for the modern operating theatre.
From 7 to 10 October 2026, the Catalan metropolis of Barcelona will become the global meeting place for specialists in cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery. The EACTS (European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery) invites you to its 40th Annual Congress – an event that has set definitive standards in surgical medicine since its foundation in 1986.
What does the EACTS stand for?
The EACTS is the leading organisation in Europe dedicated to scientific advancement and training in the field of cardiac and thoracic surgery. The association’s aim is to continuously improve outcomes for patients worldwide through research, guidelines and interdisciplinary exchange.
