CMEF 2025 Guangzhou/China

From 26 to 29 September 2025, BioCer was an exhibitor at the China Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) Autumn in Guangzhou. Following our successful appearance in Shanghai in the spring, the autumn edition of the trade fair once again provided an excellent opportunity to present our product portfolio to an international audience of experts and to establish valuable contacts.

Presence in the German Pavilion

As in previous years, BioCer was part of the German Pavilion, the joint German exhibition area for medical technology companies. Here, we presented our complete portfolio – from resorbable haemostatic agents and solutions for surgical wound care to implants for hernia surgery. Trade visitors showed a consistently high level of interest in our products, particularly with regard to applications in cardiac, thoracic and visceral surgery.

Challenges during the journey

Our team’s journey was initially affected by Typhoon Ragasa, which swept across southern China and caused delays and logistical hurdles. Despite these adverse circumstances, the trade fair days in Guangzhou were extremely positive: our stand was well attended throughout, and discussions with medical professionals, distributors and potential new partners clearly showed that interest in European quality products continues to grow in the Chinese market.

Exchange and market development in China

In addition to presenting our products, our trade fair appearance focused on dialogue with existing and new distribution partners. The Chinese market continues to develop very dynamically, especially in the field of specialised surgical applications. For BioCer, CMEF therefore offers a valuable platform for further expanding its market presence in Asia and identifying new opportunities for cooperation.

Conclusion

Despite challenging conditions, BioCer’s participation in CMEF Autumn 2025 in Guangzhou was worthwhile in every respect. The great response at the stand, the large number of in-depth technical discussions and the positive feedback from our partners confirm that our products are meeting with growing interest in the Asian region.

Following our successful appearance at CMEF Spring 2025 in Shanghai, we are delighted to announce that we will once again have our own stand at the autumn edition of the China Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) from 17 to 20 September 2025 (this time in Guangzhou).

As one of the most important trade fairs for medical technology in Asia, CMEF offers a central platform for exchange with international partners, specialist dealers and users.
