BioCer builds new cleanrooms
Completion of the cleanrooms is planned for summer 2024.
Construction work on the new cleanrooms at the BioCer site on Dieselstrasse in Bayreuth/Germany has been underway for several weeks. The cleanrooms are being built using state-of-the-art technology and will enable the medical technology manufacturer to significantly expand its production and continue to manufacture its products to the highest quality standards. BioCer builds these advanced cleanrooms to ensure optimal conditions for producing medical products.
A cleanroom is a controlled environment specifically designed to minimise contaminants such as dust, particles, microorganisms and chemicals. In a cleanroom, air quality, temperature, humidity and pressure are strictly controlled to ensure that products or processes can be manufactured or carried out in a clean environment, particularly in areas such as electronics and semiconductor production, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical technology.
