BioCer invests in cleanroom technology
Completion of the new cleanrooms is planned for summer 2024.
Construction work on the new cleanrooms at the BioCer site on Dieselstrasse in Bayreuth/Germany has been underway for several weeks. The cleanrooms are being built using state-of-the-art technology and will enable the medical technology manufacturer to significantly expand its production and continue to manufacture its products to the highest quality standards.
A cleanroom is a controlled environment specifically designed to minimise contaminants such as dust, particles, microorganisms and chemicals. In a cleanroom, air quality, temperature, humidity and pressure are strictly controlled to ensure that products or processes can be manufactured or carried out in a clean environment, particularly in areas such as electronics and semiconductor production, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical technology.
