2026 Annual Conference of Bavarian Surgeons, Erlangen

Erlangen is calling: in July 2026, the city of the Huguenots will become the centre of Bavarian surgery. BioCer is delighted to be exhibiting at the 103rd Annual Conference of the Bavarian Surgical Association (VBC) and to present innovative solutions for everyday surgical practice.

From 22 to 24 July 2026, the surgical community will gather at Erlangen University Hospital under the forward-looking motto ‘Knowledge, Action, Sharing’. The conference, chaired by Prof. Dr Robert Grützmann, is dedicated to the central task of not only applying surgical expertise but also specifically passing it on to the next generation of surgeons.

3rd State Congress of Physician Assistants

A particular highlight of this year’s conference is the inclusion of the 3rd State Congress of Physician Assistants. In times of staff shortages and the restructuring of clinical processes, the role of Physician Assistants (PAs) is coming increasingly into focus. The congress offers an important platform for strengthening the role of PAs in surgical patient care and further optimising interprofessional collaboration between medical staff and specialised assistant professions.
